Measurement and reduction of swimmer passive drag using a circular towing system that utilises the effect of guided artificial gravitation (a pilot experiment).

INTRODUCTION Towing devices have a long use history as a tool for assisted strength and pace training, as well as a testing device for measuring the strength and hydrodynamic resistance which a swimmer develops or experiences during locomotion (Sacilotto G., Ball N., Mason B., 2014). In such towing systems, the velocity of assisted "swimming" is a function of towing velocity.
