Oxygen uptake during swimming at different speeds in the "Aquatic swim-mill"
The present investigation was carried out in the "aquatic swimmill" described by Astrand, Englesson. The main purpose of these preliminary experiments was to test the experimental set up and to measure the energy costs of swimming at different speeds.
